in response to Help!!... Your situation is difficult and you need to make an even more difficult decision. Your children are your number one priority and having a boozer in the house creates a chaotic and turbulent life style for them. This will ultimately lead them into the high risk for crime/poverty cycle, I know; I’m a child of an alcoholic and a recovering drug/alcohol abuser myself. If she’s helping with the bills and you need the money it’s understandable, however I think it would be best for her to go else where. You and you kids don’t need that crap that an alcoholic causes, nothing is worth that. It would be the same if you were with an abusive man, and one who runs out on his family is quite the douche I must say. Ditch the boozer/looser and find an alternative, just hang in there, something good will come.
